The Hong Kong to Beijing Through Train, Z98/97, is an intercity railway service between Hung Hom Station in Kowloon, Hong Kong and the Beijing West Railway Station, jointly operated by the MTR of Hong Kong and China Railway. The train runs to Beijing and Hong Kong every other day. Total journey is 2311 kilometers and takes approximately 24 hours.
The Hong Kong to Shanghai Through Train, Z100/Z99, is an intercity railway service between Hung Hom Station, Kowloon in Hong Kong and the Shanghai Railway Station, jointly operated by the MTR of Hong Kong and China Railway. The Through Train runs every other day. The journey time is approximately 20 hours for the 1991 kilometers long train ride
The trains start from Hung Hom Station in Kowloon and end at Guangzhou East Station in Guangzhou. Rather than the bus and flight, taking the through train is most popular way of traveling between Hong Kong and Canton. There are more than ten pairs of train running daily and the journey takes 2 hours. The line is busy during weekends, holiday and Canton Fair session.

Receive at hotel
We can have the tickets delivered to your hotel and you can collect them when you check in. The ticket delivery service is available in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
Pickup at railway station
It is possible to pick up the tickets in Hong Kong and Guangzhou. Currently, pickup at railway station in Beijing and Shanghai is not available.
How to get to Hung Hom Railway Station from airport?
Take Airport Express train (running every 10 minutes from 05:54 to 00:48) from Hong Kong International Airport to Kowloon station for 22 minutes and then take shuttle bus K1 from Kowloon Station to Hung Hom Railway Station (running every 12 minutes from 06:12 to 23:12).
Take bus A21 from Hong Kong International Airport to Hung Hom Railway Station. It takes around 1 hour.
