Mainland-HK Lines
Guangzhou-Hong Kong Line
The line starts from Hung Hom Station in Kowloon and ends at Guangzhou East Station in Guangzhou. Rather than by bus and flight, by train is most popular way of traveling between Hong Kong and Canton. It has more than ten trains running daily and the journey takes 2 hours. The line is busy during weekends and Canton Fair session.
Beijing-Kowloon Line
The Beijing-Kowloon Through Train, Z97/98, is an intercity railway service between Hung Hom Station in Kowloon, Hong Kong and the Beijing West Railway Station, jointly operated by the MTR of Hong Kong and China Railway. The train runs to Beijing and Hong Kong every other day. Total journey is 2311 kilometers and takes approximately 24 hours.
Shanghai-Kowloon Line
The Shanghai-Kowloon Through Train, Z99/100, is an intercity railway service between Hung Hom Station in Hong Kong and the Shanghai Railway Station, jointly operated by the MTR of Hong Kong and China Railway. The Through Train runs every other day. The journey time is approximately 20 hours for the 1991 kilometers long train ride.
